Rebranding for Paradise Kids

Situation: Paradise Kids is a local Gold Coast Charity helping kids and adults through the grief and trauma healing process of dealing with illness or loss.

This is a volunteer job for us and we're happy to help out such a great organisation. After a series of design presentations, the below design was short listed by the board but is now in a holding pattern. What do you think?

Brief: Create a new symbol using the butterfly concept in the existing logo.

Solution: Inspired by the tagline of 'Help heal the heartache'. Our design is a butterfly of hearts with fragmented wings flying free yet working in beautifully with the existing logotype.
